Marcela, 22, is a lawyer and feminist. She has a degree in Law from the UNAH and a Diploma in State Contracting from the Global University of Honduras (UNITEC). She is studying for a Diploma in Development and Social Rights at the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) and is a member of the political organization, La Raíz, a multidisciplinary team of young people from Honduras.
Previously she worked as a legal assistant in criminal law. She is now part of the Political Advocacy and Litigation Program at the Women’s Rights Center (CDM), in the area of Litigation and Advocacy, where she carries out legal research activities, feminist activism and provides legal advice in cases of violence against women.
